Decenas de personas resultaron muertas y más de 200 heridas en medio de multitudes masivas en Meron, Israel, mientras miles de ortodoxos celebraban el festival de Lag BaOmer en el sitio en el norte de Israel el jueves por la noche.

Diez helicópteros fueron llamados al lugar para evacuar a los heridos, según los informes iniciales de Magen David Adom.

Poco después del incidente, la Policía de Israel cerró el tráfico en el área y comenzó a evacuar a los visitantes del sitio.

«Un grave desastre en el monte Meron», afirmó el primer ministro Benjamin Netanyahu en respuesta al incidente. «Todos estamos orando por la recuperación de los heridos. Pido fortalecer las fuerzas de rescate que operan en la zona».

«Un desastre insoportable en la tumba del rabino Shimon Bar Yochai», dijo el director de Yamina, Naftali Bennett. «Toda la nación de Israel está unida en oración por las víctimas».

    ¿QUe necesidad hay de festejar Lag Baomer justo en ese sitio?
    Yo festejo Lag Baomer en el patio de mi casa !!
    ¿Acaso si están cerca de la tumba de Shimon Bar Iojai van a recibir una bendicion especial?
    ¿Desde cuando los judios tenemos tambien SANTOS como los Cirstianos?
    ¿Veneramos tumbas? Tambien decenas de miles de judios visitan la tumba del Rebe de Lubavitch todos los años… ¿No es eso una forma de idolatría?
    Los Cristianos tambien dicen que los santos son «intercesores» y que orarle a la Virgen, a San Cayetano, a San Expedito etcetera NO ES IDOLATRÍA porque ellos están orando a intercesores , que no están considerados dioses.

    Finalmente los judios oran a «santos judíos» como Shimon Bar Iojai, el Rebe de Lubavitch, la tumba de Iosef, etcetera..

    Somos idólatras !! Y asi lo pagamos.
