El gobierno argentino se pronunció de manera polémica ante los graves sucesos en Israel, que fue atacado de manera desproporcionada por el grupo terrorista Hamás con más de 200 misiles dirigidos a la capital Jerusalén, a Tel Aviv y otras ciudades del país, asesinando a tres personas y causando numerosos heridos.

Israel repelió la agresión defendiendo su territorio y a sus ciudadanos ante el ataque. Cuando muchos países condenan el ataque de los terroristas, el gobierno argentino emitió el siguiente comunicado.

«La República Argentina expresa su preocupación por el agravamiento de la situación en Israel y Palestina; por el uso desproporcionado de la fuerza por parte de las unidades de seguridad israelíes y ante el ataque con misiles y artefactos incendiarios desde la Franja de Gaza».

«Nuestro país exhorta a apoyar todos los esfuerzos internacionales para establecer un cese del fuego inmediato y duradero. Como primer paso para la búsqueda de una convivencia pacífica para todos a través del diálogo en la mesa de negociaciones».

En el momento que Israel concluyó su plan de vacunación más eficiente del mundo, enviando expertos de su ciencia a los países que requieran ayuda (entre ellos la Argentina), lo ataca un grupo terrorista. La Cancillería Argentina los pone en pie de igualdad. Por lo menos, polémico.
