En los últimos días hemos sido testigos de muchas manifestaciones dolorosas y violentas; Nosotros, en La Agencia Judía para Israel, condenamos cualquier tipo de violencia.

En el Estado de Israel, y en toda la sociedad israelí, no hay lugar para el racismo. No hay lugar para la incitación, no hay lugar para la agresión.
Nuestra belleza como sociedad surge de la diversidad, el mosaico humano que la conforma. Y para continuar nuestra vida juntos en este país debemos respetarnos y respetar nuestras diferentes creencias, opiniones y estilos de vida.
En sus 73 años de existencia, el Estado de Israel enfrentó innumerables amenazas en las que hemos logrado, a pesar de las diferencias entre las distintas partes de la sociedad, mantenernos firmes y como un solo frente.
El intento en los últimos días de desmoronar esa solidaridad representa una amenaza real para nuestra resiliencia social. La Agencia Judía, que fue el brazo ejecutivo del pueblo judío para el establecimiento del Estado de Israel, pide a todas las partes, judíos y árabes, que ejerzan moderación, mantengan la seguridad personal de todos los ciudadanos del estado y respeten el uno al otro.

El terror de los misiles y cohetes desde Gaza ha acompañado nuestras vidas. De una manera lamentable e inconcebible durante los últimos veinte años. Los residentes del sur de Israel viven bajo una amenaza constante y cualquier alarma aterroriza la rutina de sus vidas, incluso si no va seguida de daños corporales, acarrea un daño profundo a la psiquis humana.
