El Ministerio de la Diáspora publicó un nuevo informe que analiza el brote de antisemitismo en todo el mundo y ubica a París como «la capital del antisemitismo». Refiere a la reciente violencia entre Israel y la organización terrorista Hamás en la Franja de Gaza.

Según el informe, que se basa en el Sistema de Monitoreo Cibernético del Antisemitismo (ACMS), durante los diez días posteriores al ataque con cohetes de Hamás en Jerusalén, unos 80.000 usuarios publicaron 250.000 publicaciones antisemitas en Twitter. Representaron un aumento del 200% con respecto a abril de 2021.
Los «días pico», durante los cuales se identificó una actividad antisemita inusual, fueron en la primera semana de los combates. Estos comenzaron con los disturbios del Día de Jerusalén.
Según el Ministerio de la Diáspora, las últimas dos semanas se caracterizaron por un aumento del antisemitismo en línea. También por por una ola de intimidación y violencia contra los judíos por parte de activistas pro palestinos. Esto se reflejó en manifestaciones fuera de las sinagogas y protestas en barrios judíos. Como así también en ataques contra judíos en ciudades como Londres, Nueva York y Los Ángeles.

Además, París fue identificada por el informe como la ciudad de donde se originó el mayor número de publicaciones antisemitas, seguida de Nueva York y Los Ángeles. Estados Unidos fue el país con el mayor número de publicaciones antisemitas, seguido de Francia, Alemania y el Reino Unido.
El ministerio declaró en su informe: «Los acontecimientos recientes demuestran la existencia de una fuerte correlación entre las tendencias del discurso de odio antisemita en línea y las manifestaciones de antisemitismo en el mundo real. La última violencia israelo-palestina plantea importantes amenazas a la seguridad de las comunidades judías de todo el mundo. Que ya experimentó un aumento significativo en los delitos de odio antisemitas en los últimos diez días «.
