“Todos los días reparando el mundo” es el lema que guía de manera cotidiana a nuestra institución. Este mandato ancestral fue uno de los faros que nos iluminó para poder multiplicar el alcance de las acciones que realizamos para llevar soluciones a las diferentes necesidades que se registraron desde que se desató la pandemia.

Atravesamos en este tiempo momentos muy complejos, de dolor, incertidumbre y sufrimiento. Pero también de altruismo, de vocación solidaria y de compromiso, valores que nos interpelan para hacer todo lo que está nuestro alcance para ayudar a quienes han sufrido las consecuencias más severas de la crisis económica y social que desencadenó la emergencia sanitaria.

Una situación sin precedentes como la que estamos atravesando sólo puede ser enfrentada por un sentido de comunidad sólido e indestructible como el que logramos poner de manifiesto en el cumplimiento de nuestra misión institucional.

La demanda social, que creció de manera exponencial, fue atendida gracias a un trabajo profesional consistente que se realizó para acompañar y seguir de cerca la situación de las personas y las familias más perjudicadas por la crisis. Desde el primer momento desde AMIA desplegamos un conjunto de programas de asistencia integral para garantizar los derechos esenciales y poder aliviar las urgencias más complejas. Al mismo tiempo, fortalecimos nuestro compromiso con la Educación multiplicando los subsidios a las escuelas, acompañando a la comunidad educativa, asesorando a docentes, brindando recursos pedagógicos y organizando diferentes espacios de capacitación. Promover la equidad y la inclusión social sigue siendo nuestra prioridad.

Sabemos que los efectos de la crisis no desaparecerán de un día para otro. Pero estamos comprometidos para ayudar a todos a ponerse de pie. La labor de AMIA ofrece respuestas en trabajo social, infancia, adultos mayores, discapacidad, voluntariado, educación, juventud, asistencia ritual, cultura, empleo y acompañamiento a las comunidades del interior.
