En un evento con más de cien personas, el Colegio Toratenu perteneciente a la Congregación Sefaradí, inauguró un nuevo piso del Colegio.
Las nuevas instalaciones de mas de 2000 mts contienen 12 aulas, un salón de usos múltiples y una cancha de futbol con espacios al aire libre.
En el evento se hizo el tradicional corte de cintas junto a donantes, autoridades de DAIA, AMIA, OSA, AISA y demás instituciones hermanas. Los discursos de inauguración estuvieron a cargo del Gran Rabino Iosef Chehebar y del presidente de la institucion el señor Israel Sutton. Durante el mismo dio a conocer un nuevo proyecto de construcción. Se construirá un edificio nuevo sobre la calle Tucumán que albergara más aulas. Actualmente Toratenu cuenta con mas de 2000 alumnos que cursan desde jardín maternal hasta un profesorado oficial en el nivel terciario.
La «Congregación Sefaradí de Enseñanza, Culto y Beneficencia», es un instituto superior de gestión privada, mixto, de jornada completa y con orientación en valores de la religión Judía. Además, dispone de infraestructura religiosa propia. También, se enseñan los idiomas inglés y hebreo en un nivel general.
