El grupo terrorista Hamás anunció este domingo que ejecutó a cinco palestinos en la Franja de Gaza, entre ellos dos por “colaborar” con Israel, informó Enlace Judío.

“El domingo por la mañana, se ejecutó la sentencia de muerte contra dos condenados por colaboración con la ocupación (Israel), y otros tres en casos criminales”, señaló Hamás en un comunicado.

Agregó que previamente se concedió a los acusados “pleno derecho a defenderse”.

El Ministerio del Interior de Hamás facilitó las iniciales y los años de nacimiento de los cinco palestinos ejecutados, pero no proporcionó sus nombres completos.

Los dos ejecutados por “colaborar” con Israel son hombres nacidos en 1978 y 1968.

El mayor era residente de Jan Younis, en el sur de la Franja de Gaza. Fue condenado por suministrar a Israel en 1991 “información sobre hombres de la resistencia, su residencia… y la ubicación de plataformas de lanzamiento de cohetes”, indicó Hamás.

El segundo fue condenado por suministrar a Israel en 2001 información “que condujo al ataque y martirio de ciudadanos” por parte de las fuerzas israelíes, añadió el comunicado.

Los tres ejecutados adicionales fueron condenados por asesinato, según el comunicado.

Hamás adopta medidas rígidas contra presuntos colaboradores con Israel. La ley palestina exige la aprobación del presidente de la Autoridad Palestina para la pena de muerte, pero Hamás en Gaza ha llevado a cabo ejecuciones sin la autorización de Mahmoud Abbas.

Según las cifras de julio del grupo de derechos israelí B’Tselem, Hamás condenó a muerte a 13 personas desde principios de año, pero no había llevado a cabo ninguna ejecución desde 2017.

La comunidad internacional ha criticado repetidamente el uso de la pena de muerte por parte de Hamás.
