El INADI y la DAIA realizaron un encuentro de sensibilización sobre antisemitismo, comunicación y cultura para prevenir posibles discursos de odio durante los conciertos de Roger Waters el 21 y 22 de noviembre en el Estadio de River Plate.
La titular del INADI, Greta Pena, y el presidente de la DAIA, Jorge Knoblovits, disertaron sobre las manifestaciones antisemitas del ex líder de Pink Floyd en recitales en distintos países.
En una convocatoria a la prensa y a distintos estamentos, se hicieron presentes el director del Centro Simon Wiesenthal para América Latina, Ariel Gelblung, el juez Franco Fiumara y representantes de distintos colectivos.
Además de Knoblovits, representaron a la DAIA Patricia Manusovich, Silvana Pereplotczyk, la directora del Centro de Estudios Sociales, Marisa Braylan, y el director ejecutivo Víctor Garelik.
“Argentina es un país particular, especialmente distintivo. La matriz de convivencia que tiene la Argentina no la tiene casi ningún país del mundo. El INADI articula estas cuestiones junto con la DAIA y otras comunidades, para que nuestra convivencia no esté alterada por ningún factor, en este caso como Roger Waters, que es un propagador serial del discurso de odio”, dijo Knoblovits.
“Si (Roger Waters) comete un delito en la Argentina va a tener las consecuencias que corresponden”, expresó.
Waters, que apoya abiertamente a Palestina en el conflicto con Israel y que más recientemente criticó la presunta influencia de la OTAN en el conflicto bélico entre Ucrania y Rusia, fue duramente apuntado por la cancillería de Israel, que le reprochó «haber ensuciado la memoria de Ana Frank y de seis millones de judíos asesinados durante el Holocausto».

Ante una consulta de Vis a Vis sobre las distintas acciones que pueda desarrollar el INADI en forma preventiva antes de los conciertos de Waters el 21 y 22 de noviembre en el Estadio Monumental de River, Pena manifestó que “como este desayuno en el que estamos junto a ustedes, iremos concientizando para que cuando llegue ese día no ocurran hechos como lo sucedido en Berlín».
Por otra parte, agregó: «Hay que separar a Pink Floyd y su música – soy fanática de ellos – de las manifestaciones de Roger Waters. Hay que separar a quienes van a ver el show de Roger Waters».
