Yahya Sinwar, líder de Hamás en Gaza y planificador de la masacre del 7 de octubre, se reunió con israelíes capturados en uno de los túneles bajo Gaza, reveló este lunes el Canal 12.
Según el reporte, una de las mujeres liberadas le contó a su familia que había conocido a Sinwar en los primeros días de la guerra. “Habló hebreo con fluidez a los rehenes y les dijo: ‘Hola, soy Yahya Sinwar. Están protegidos al máximo aquí. No les pasará nada”.
El periodista Ben Caspit reportó que durante los últimos años, el primer ministro Benjamín Netanyahu recibió seis planes operativos diferentes para asesinar a Sinwar, por parte de los tres directores más recientes del Shin Bet: Yoram Cohen, Nadav Argaman y Ronen Bar. Netanyahu los rechazó todos.
Otra de las rehenes le contó al Canal 12 sobre las condiciones en el cautiverio de Hamás.
Según ella, sólo los alimentaban con arroz y pan pita en pequeñas porciones que debían dividirse en trozos para garantizar que todos recibieran un poco. No estaban seguros de si habría comida al día siguiente, reportó Enlace Judío.
También afirma que los cautivos fueron retenidos por encima y por debajo de la tierra, y no se les dieron suficientes calorías, ni cambios de ropa, ni la oportunidad de bañarse.
Recién en su último día en cautiverio se les entregó ropa limpia, después de cincuenta días sin posibilidad de bañarse y todavía vistiendo la ropa con la que fueron capturados.
