Un ciudadano árabe israelí de Jerusalén Este fue asesinado a tiros este domingo en un ataque terrorista en Judea y Samaria (Cisjordania) al norte de Ramallah, informó Enlace Judío.
Tropas de las Fuerzas de Defensa de Israel lanzaron una búsqueda de los sospechosos y establecieron barricadas en los alrededores de Ramallah tras el ataque en la Ruta 465, al este del asentamiento de Ateret.
La víctima fue identificada por los medios como Amar Mansour, de 33 años, de Jerusalén Este.
Las imágenes de video muestran al hombre desplomado en el asiento del conductor de un Volkswagen plateado en una carretera, con varios agujeros de bala que atraviesan el parabrisas.
Mansour fue declarado muerto en la escena por el servicio de ambulancias Maguén David Adom.
Una mujer, residente de Yafo de 42 años, conducía detrás de Mansour. Un transeúnte palestino la llevó a un hospital en Ramallah, y posteriormente fue trasladada al Centro Médico Hadassah Ein Kerem de Jerusalén.
La mujer es una farmacéutica que trabajó en Hadassah durante 17 años, informó la emisora pública Kan.
El ataque ocurrió entre Ateret y el cruce con la Ruta 60, la principal vía norte-sur de Judea y Samaria (Cisjordania), cerca de la antigua policía británica en Wadi al-Haramiya en Binyamin.
Se trata del primer ataque mortal en Judea y Samaria (Cisjordania) desde noviembre. El 31 de diciembre, dos guardias resultaron heridos en un apuñalamiento a la entrada de la zona industrial de Mishor Adumim, durante el cual el terrorista logró apoderarse del arma.
La sargento Shay Germay, de 19 años, oriunda de Carmiel, murió el sábado por la noche al explotar un artefacto explosivo cuando conducía en un vehículo militar durante una redada militar en el campo de refugiados de Jenin. Tres de sus compañeros resultaron moderadamente heridos.
