Este sábado al atardecer comienza la Festividad de Purim y la Comunidad Or Mizrah te brinda los 5 preceptos.
1) La lectura de la Meguilá
El Sábado 23/3 por la noche y el Domingo 24/3 durante el día se debe escuchar la lectura de la Meguilá (Rollo de Ester) de un pergamino manuscrito.
Es costumbre hacer ruido con silbatos, matracas y cornetas cuando se menciona al malvado Hamán.
2) Envío de Mishloaj Manot Comestibles
Durante el día de Purim, Domingo 24/3 cada persona (no es suficiente que la familia lo haga) debe envíar minimamente dos comestibles listos para consumir, a por lo menos una persona.
Se puede enviar a vecinos, amigos y familiares.
Lo ideal es enviar a personas que se quiere mejorar las relaciones deterioradas, o enfermos, o ancianos, o gente sola y necesitada para así alegrar sus corazones.
3) Matanot Laebionim
«Regalos a los Pobres»
Es un Precepto dar dinero a los necesitados durante el día de Purim. Se debe dar de caridad el monto equivalente a 1 comida, por lo menos 2 pobres, se calcula $ 4.000 por Necesitado(×2=8.000) por supuesto, cuantos más, mejor.
De no encontrar necesitados, se puede cumplir el Precepto separando ese día una suma para caridad, en el templo tenemos un departamento de ayuda social. Gmaj.
También se nos puede enviar por transferencia bancaria.
4) Banquete y Alegría
Este es el Precepto sobresaliente de Purim. Durante el día de Purim, Domingo 24/3 durante el mediodía y/o tarde, se realiza un gran banquete familiar en el cual se come y se bebe a placer.
5) Dar Majatsit Hashekel $ 7.000 por persona para el estudio de Tora el 23 o 24/3 a las arcas del Templo y Yeshiba) también se nos puede enviar por transferencia bancaria

Los niños acostumbran a disfrazarse en Purim.
Los adultos acostumbran dar a los niños dinero de Purim.
