Un informe del Canal 12 indicó que la exitosa serie israelí Fauda, una sensación mundial en Netflix, se convertirá en una película.
El programa, Good Evening with Guy Pines, informó que Fauda será adaptada a la pantalla grande el próximo año.
Los creadores Avi Issacharoff y Lior Raz (también protagonista) se caracterizan por su hermetismo en relación a la serie.
Fauda está rodando su quinta temporada en Budapest, tras verse obligada a trasladarse de Marsella debido a amenazas de seguridad.
En el tráiler de la quinta temporada, Eli (Yaakov Zada-Daniel), miembro de la unidad, afirma: “La Nukhba se encuentra en Marsella”. Hay una toma del puerto de Marsella y otras referencias a Francia en el tráiler, pero no estaba claro si la historia real se trasladaría a Hungría o si Budapest se filmaría para que pareciera Marsella.
Según se informa, la serie estaba lista para comenzar a filmar una nueva temporada en 2023, pero descartó su trama propuesta después de la masacre de Hamas del 7 de octubre y el estallido de la guerra.

El motivo que complica la grabación de la quinta temporada de Fauda
La quinta temporada presentará un nuevo personaje interpretado por la actriz francesa Mélanie Laurent, quien protagonizó Bastardos sin gloria de Quentin Tarantino.
Se estima que se estrene inicialmente en Yes TV en Israel a principios de 2026, y luego tenga un lanzamiento mundial en Netflix.
Además, el mes pasado se dio a conocer que el actor y cantante Idan Amedi, quien resultó gravemente herido en Gaza en enero del 2024, finalmente será parte de las grabaciones de la quinta temporada de Fauda, aunque será solamente un cameo, una intervención especial breve.
Amedi sufrió serias quemaduras durante un incidente en la Franja, adonde la guerra estalló después del brutal ataque terrorista de Hamás del 7 de octubre del 2023.
