Promoviendo el diálogo, el respeto y el encuentro en la diversidad, se firmó esta mañana en el auditorio Arturo Frondizi del Archivo General de la Memoria, la declaración de “Argentina, Mosaico de Identidades”, para trabajar en conjunto todas las colectividades.
El evento contó con la presencia del Secretario de Derechos Humanos y Pluralismo Cultural de la Nación Lic. Claudio Avruj, el presidente de la Federación Argentina de Colectividades Juan Balestretti, el Director de Migraciones Horacio García, por parte del Observatorio de Colectividades se hizo presente el señor Jorge Danylyszyn y el Director del Instituto de políticas de Migraciones y Asilo Dr Lelio Mármora.
Asistieron por parte de la Secretaría de Derechos Humanos de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires la Lic. Pamela Malewicz, a quien Avruj reconoció, al igual que con Horacio García, «ya que hace 11 años comenzamos con la tarea, con la consigna de Mauricio Macri, de poner en valor lo que significan las colectividades en nuestro país, venimos trabajando con esto con ellos desde un principio y me llena de orgullo que la firma de esta declaración se haga en este lugar (Archivo General de la Memoria) donde lo estamos haciendo. La presencia de todos ustedes, que estén representantes de la DAIA, (por el vicepresidente segundo Marcelo Taussik), que es el lugar donde me formé. Además, hizo hincapié en la actualidad y lo que ocurre con aquel extranjero que comete delitos. «Somos un país abierto y plural. Quien rompe ese pacto de confianza, y se pone fuera de la ley, no tiene lugar entre nosotros», afirmó.
El Director de Diversidades Julio Croci abrió el acto reafirmando que «la firma de esta declaración implica una reafirmación del compromiso de la Secretaría de trabajar junto a las organizaciones de la sociedad civil, en el marco del Plan Nacional de Acción en Derechos Humanos 2017-2020, en la elaboración de políticas públicas y de medidas de acción para la promoción del diálogo intercultural y la lucha contra cualquier tipo de discriminación».
Asimismo, se ratificará la voluntad de avanzar de manera conjunta, con el acompañamiento del ACNUR y la OIM, en la promoción y protección de derechos de los migrantes y refugiados, como así también desarrollar acciones para continuar visibilizando el importante aporte que realizan las instituciones de colectividades a nuestra sociedad.
Además hablaron: Jorge Danylyszyn, Juan Balestretti, Horacio García y el Dr. Lelio Mármora.
También envió un mensaje por video el Embajador Argentino ante organismos internacionales y Vicepresidente del Consejo de Derechos Humanos de las Naciones Unidas, Carlos Foradori.
Entre los presentes se encontraba el Ingeniero Leonardo Chullmir, vicepresidente de la AMIA, representantes de todas las colectividades y organizaciones no gubernamentales.
