La reciente publicación de un estudio sobre los ataques antisemitas en Europa, en los que se evidenciaba su crecimiento en los últimos tiempos, ha generado una ola de preocupación, a la vez que parece haber actuado involuntariamente de disparador de nuevos ataques, algunos verbales, otros vandálicos y hasta de un grado de violencia insólita más allá de sus fronteras, por ejemplo, en Argentina.
Evidentemente, las agresiones físicas y de todo tipo hacia los judíos no son un fenómeno nuevo, aunque sí lo es el espectro de perpetradores. Si hasta hace pocos años los autores de estos atropellos se identificaban con elementos de la extrema derecha, nostálgica de nacionalismos exacerbados y regímenes totalitaristas, hoy en día se han sumado al linchamiento otros sectores, como el islamismo radical y, aún, algunos grupos de izquierda. Pero cada uno con sus características… y su propio horario.
En una reciente entrevista con el especialista en el tema, Álex Baer, compartíamos con los oyentes unas conversaciones de un colega con el filósofo francés Pascal Bruckner, que observaba la emergencia, por una parte, del antisemitismo nocturno, de los neonazis que vandalizan las huellas del pasado (por ejemplo, los cementerios judíos), atacando la memoria de los judíos muertos, en comparación al “nuevo” antisemitismo diurno, a cara descubierta, contra los vivos; una judeofobia de conquista y de futuro. Ahondando en la metáfora, me atrevería incluso a dividir a este último grupo en dos categorías. Una, representada por el yihadismo que busca -por encima de todo- una repercusión mediática máxima, cometiendo sus ataques suicidas (que califican de “martirios”) durante las mañanas, para mantener y amplificar el objetivo de aterrorizar a la población durante todo el día. El segundo grupo es el de los activistas de izquierda, que ocupan el final de la jornada para boicotear a artistas israelíes o soltar sus soflamas de odio militante (disfrazado de solidaridad) en los medios de comunicación y redes sociales.
Por lo tanto, entramos en un escenario posmoderno en el que el antisemitismo opera por turnos, las 24 horas del día, los 7 días de la semana, como los servicios de atención al cliente y “call-centers” de las empresas de este siglo. No sólo eso: la globalización nos permite hoy día incluso ser atacados según diferentes husos horarios, desde la salida del sol en Teherán, hasta el crepúsculo en Los Ángeles. “Non stop”, sin escalas ni treguas. De un extremo a otro de las ideologías, derecha o izquierda. Del fanatismo religioso al ateísmo radical, apuntando al corazón del respeto al otro y la convivencia. Con un objetivo común: descargarse de los pecados propios invocando la supuesta maldad intrínseca del mismo chivo expiatorio de siempre: ése que de tanto ser despeñado, ha aprendido a trepar la ladera una y otra vez, resistiéndose a cumplir la tradicional función de víctima propiciatoria que la historia parece haberle asignado.
