Una mujer israelí donó parte de su hígado para salvar la vida de una bebé indio que nació con un problema hepático grave y reside en Israel junto a su familia, según un video publicado esta semana por Hananya Naftali, de la oficina de prensa del primer ministro Benjamin Netanyahu.
El matrimonio de la India, que trabaja en Israel, dijo que su hija, Krisha, fue diagnosticada una semana después del nacimiento con el trastorno genético MSUD.
La enfermedad de la orina del jarabe de arce hace que el cuerpo no pueda procesar ciertos bloques de construcción de proteínas. Si no se trata, su hija podría haber caído en coma o muerto.
