Durante las últimas horas el grupo terrorista Hamás inició un nuevo ataque contra la población civil israelí. Ya fueron lanzados más de 600 cohetes causando hasta el momento tres víctimas fatales, un centenar de heridos y numerosos daños.
Cien misiles pudieron ser interceptados por la Cúpula de Hierro, el sistema utilizado por el Ejército de Defensa de Israel. Las alarmas antiaéreas no han dejado de sonar, obligando a la población a tener que dirigirse en pocos segundos a los refugios.
Desde AMIA, comunidad judía de Argentina, hacemos llegar nuestra solidaridad al pueblo israelí y a los familiares de las víctimas, al tiempo que expresamos una enérgica condena frente a estos ataques y esperamos que todos los países democráticos del mundo eleven su voz para detener la violencia terrorista.
Las Fuerzas de Defensa de Israel responden atacando instalaciones terroristas pertenecientes a la Yihad Islámica y Hamás en la Franja de Gaza. Como resultado de estos ataques, decenas de objetivos terroristas han sido destruidos, incluyendo un túnel terrorista de la Yihad Islámica desde Rafah, rampas de lanzamiento de cohetes y bases de entrenamiento terrorista.
Las organizaciones terroristas en la Franja de Gaza son el principal obstáculo para la paz en ese territorio. Hamas y la Yihad Islámica, financiadas por la República de Irán, ponen en peligro la vida de la población de Gaza, que está cautiva bajo su régimen asesino.
Una vez más, hacemos un llamado a extremar los esfuerzos para que pueden encontrarse los caminos del diálogo que puedan conducir a una paz duradera para todos los habitantes de la región.
