La DAIA presente en el concierto por el centenario del Genocidio Armenio

La Comunidad armenia comenzó con una serie de actos que llevarán adelante a lo largo del mes de abril por el centenario del genocidio armenio que se conmemorará el próximo 24 de abril. Por este motivo, organizaron un concierto de música clásica al aire libre en el Monumento a los Españoles ayer por la tarde en donde estuvo presente la representación política de la comunidad judía.

El próximo 24 de abril se conmemorará la masacre de un millón y medio de turcos que fueron asesinados y masacrados por el Imperio Otomano en un plan sistemático que llevaron adelante desde 1915 hasta 1923. La comunidad armenia que reside en Argentina organizó un concierto al aire libre que fue dirigido por el director de orquesta, Santiago Chotsourian. En este acto que fue organizado por la Subsecretaría de Derechos Humanos y Pluralismo Cultural de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires estuvo presente Jorge Knoblovits, secretario general de la DAIA, representando a la comunidad judía y acompañando al pueblo armenio.

Además entre los actos que tienen ya organizados estarán presentes en la Feria del Libro teniendo un stand especial en la misma, y el 28 de abril harán el acto central en el Luna Park.
