Medios de comunicación palestinos informaron que las fuerzas militares del grupo terrorista islámico Hamás abrieron fuego contra las Fuerzas de Defensa de Israel (FDI) cerca de Khan Younis, al sur de la Franja de Gaza.
Cerca de 20 soldados israelíes ingresaron a Gaza y se desplazaron unos 100 metros hasta que los miembros de Hamás les dispararon.
No hubo víctimas, y hasta el momento no se comunicó oficialmente por parte de las FDI a qué se debió la operación.
