Soldados de las Fuerzas de Defensa de Israel (FDI) demolieron nuevamente la vivienda de Islam Yusef Abu Hamid, el terrorista que asesinó al sargento primero Ronen Lubarsky, en mayo de 2018.

La vivienda, situada en el campo de refugiados al Amari en Ramallah, ya había sido demolida por las FDI hace 10 meses, pero una nueva edificación fue erigida en el lugar para la familia. Una vez que fue reconstruida, el ejército volvió a mapear la infraestructura y emitió una nueva orden de demolición.
El sargento Lubarsky fue asesinado durante un operativo encabezado por la unidad de elite Duvdevan en una localidad cerca de Ramallah. El terrorista arrojó sobre Lubarsky una pesada losa de mármol desde el techo de un edificio, provocándole heridas críticas. Falleció dos días más tarde.
En julio pasado, un tribunal militar condenó a Abu Hamid a cadena perpetua y ocho meses por el asesinato de Lubarsky. También se le ordenó pagar a la familia de la víctima 258 mil shekels (72.900 dólares).
El portavoz militar anunció que, anoche, tropas de las FDI, efectivos de la Guardia de Fronteras y personal de la Administración Civil operaron en el campo de refugiados de Al Amari, al oeste de Ramallah. Durante el operativo, las tropas de las FDI demolieron un edificio que se estaba construyendo en el lote ocupado por la familia del terrorista Islam Yusef Abu Hamid, en el campo de refugiados de Al Amari.
Bajo el telón de fondo de la demolición, decenas de palestinos provocaron disturbios en la zona. Los alborotadores arrojaron piedras y bombas incendiarias contra las tropas, que respondieron con métodos antidisturbios. No se reportaron heridos entre los soldados.
