Cayeron misiles en Beer Sheva durante la madrugada e Israel respondió atacando a Hamás

«A las 2 de la mañana cayeron acá por primera vez en esta etapa y tuvimos que meternos en los refugios» le dijo a Vis a Vis, Fabian Rosenberg, un residente junto a su familia, de esta ciudad.

Por su parte un portavoz militar anunció esta mañana que las Fuerzas de Defensa de Israel (FDI) atacaron blancos del grupo terrorista islámico Hamás en la Franja de Gaza, en respuesta al lanzamiento de dos cohetes anoche desde ese enclave costero contra la ciudad de Beer Sheva. Se trata de una ciudad que cuenta con aproximadamente 200 mil habitantes y es considerada la capital del desierto del Negev, en el sur de Israel.

Se trata de la primera vez que las Fuerzas de Defensa de Israel atacan blancos de Hamás, en esta última ronda de violencia. La batería antimisiles Cúpula de Hierro derribó los dos cohetes lanzados contra Beer Sheva. Equipos del servicio de emergencias Magen David Adom (Estrella de David Roja) atendieron a cinco personas en estado de shock y a otras cuatro que sufrieron lesiones cuando corrían a los refugios antiaéreos. El estado de todos los heridos fue catalogado como leve.

Las FDI precisaron que, entre otros blancos, atacaron un campamento militar y un complejo militar usado por la fuerza naval de Hamás. También bombardearon infraestructura subterránea de la organización terrorista. “Hamás es responsable de todo lo que sucede y sale de la Franja de Gaza. Y sufrirá las consecuencias de las actividades terroristas perpetradas contra los ciudadanos israelíes”. En Gaza no se reportaron heridos por el bombardeo de las FDI.

Se estima que los últimos ataques con cohetes violando el cese del fuego han sido perpetrados por militantes insurrectos de la Jihad Islámica Palestina, que se oponen a la tregua. Es la primera vez que el terrorismo palestino ataca la ciudad de Beer Sheva en la última escalada de violencia, este mes. Numerosos jóvenes que estaban disfrutando y bailando en los clubes nocturnos de Beer Sheva fueron evacuado a los refugios y espacios blindado.

El intendente de Beer Sheva, Tal El-Al le dijo a la radio estatal Kan que los habitantes de la ciudad entienden que se trata de días muy sensibles y que no se puede confiar en el otro lado (el terrorismo palestino de Gaza). “Ellos van a intentar dañarnos de todas las formas y métodos posibles”. El-Al instó a los habitantes a mantenerse alertas, y subrayó que hasta el momento no hay instrucciones especiales.
