En una reunión con miembros del Likud que calificó como “de emergencia”, Netanyahu advirtió de nuevo sobre un posible gobierno de Benny Gantz de Kajol Lavan con la alianza de partidos árabes de la Lista Conjunta.
A unos días de que culmine el mandato de Gantz para intentar una coalición de gobierno en Israel, Netanyahu lo exhortó este domingo de nuevo a que forme junto con su partido un gobierno de unidad y despotricó contra la idea de incluir a la Lista Conjunta en uno, informó el sitio Walla! News.
Netanyahu reiteró su acusación a los líderes de la Lista Conjunta de querer llevar a los soldados de las FDI a ser juzgados por crímenes de guerra, e incluso, a los propios Gantz y sus aliados Moshe Ya’alon y Gabi Ashkenazi.
“Cuando yo digo árabe, no me refiero a los árabes [israelíes]. ¡Los árabes pueden ser sionistas y apoyar al Estado de Israel. ¡Pero estos [la Lista Conjunta] no son sionistas y no apoyan al Estado de Israel!”, aseguró Netanyahu a su audiencia, que no paraban de exclamar consignas, chiflidos y aplausos.
Asimismo, a la posible conformación de un gobierno de Gantz con la Lista Árabe, Netanyahu la tildó como una “bofetada” contra la población y soldados de Israel, e incluso contra sus propios votantes. “Esto no sería solo un ataque grave contra la seguridad de Israel, sería un ataque grave contra la democracia israelí”, afirmó Netanyahu.
Por igual, manifestó que un gobierno con la Lista Conjunta sería celebrado “en Teherán, en Ramallah y en Gaza, como celebran todo ataque terrorista, pero este sería un ataque terrorista histórico nacional contra el Estado de Israel y esto no puede ocurrir”.
Desde el partido Kajol Lavan, las reacciones llegaron poco después.
“Los habitantes del sur no recibieron una ‘reunión de emergencia’, tampoco los enfermos tirados en pasillos en hospitales, ni los ancianos, ni los discapacitados. Como siempre, Netanyahu se preocupa solo por Netanyahu”, dijo el partido en un comunicado.
Por su parte, Yair Lapid también despotricó contra Netanyahu, al que tildó de estar “histérico”.
“Si Netanyahu está tan histérico por la idea de un gobierno minoritario, que venga con nosotros y establezca un gobierno de unidad, que se desligue del bloque jaredí-mesiánico, que acepte ser el segundo en una rotación de gobierno, y con esto tendríamos un gobierno de unidad dentro de 48 horas. El problema es que Netanyahu decidió, con el consejo de sus abogados, ir a las elecciones”, escribió Lapid en un mensaje de Twitter.
En respuesta al discurso de Netanyahu, Ayman Odeh, líder de la Lista Conjunta acusó al mandatario de ser un mal perdedor y recalcó su acusación contra el mandatario de incitar contra la población árabe de Israel.
“No habrá una intersección ‘Benjamín’, o un ‘Instituto Benjamín’. Acaba de firmar esta noche su legado como un delincuente resentido que no sabe perder, sino simplemente ofender e incitar en contra de lo que se supone en que debe de servir”, escribió Odeh en un mensaje de Twitter.
“Todos nosotros, los árabes y nuestros socios judíos, daremos un respiro de alivia el día que se vaya y continuaremos luchando por la paz, la igualdad, la democracia y la justicia social”, agregó.
