Tres jóvenes judíos fueron golpeados salvajemente por un grupo de 11 estudiantes de la Universidad de Indiana. El ataque fue captado y quedó registrado por las cámaras de seguridad.
La pelea se produjo cuando los miembros de una agrupación universitaria llamada Pi Kappa Phi intentaron ingresar sin invitación a una fiesta de la fraternidad judía Alpha Epsilon Pi.
En el video se observa a los tres jóvenes judíos siendo duramente golpeados por 11 estudiantes. Los agresores también les propinaron insultos antisemitas.
La fraternidad Alpha Epsilon Pi manifestó que las tres víctimas sufrieron conmociones cerebrales durante la agresión, por lo que tuvieron que recibir atención médica en un hospital.
Según Hillel, la organización estudiantil de la comunidad judía de la Universidad de Indiana, en la institución académica hay alrededor de 4.000 judíos, lo que representa entre un 10% y un 12% del total de estudiantes del campus.
