Los presidentes de la AMIA, Ariel Eichbaum, de la DAIA, Jorge Knoblovits y Adrián Werthein del Congreso Judío Latinoamericano se hicieron presentes en el parlamento alemán junto al presidente de Israel, Reuven Rivlin, y líderes de las comunidades judías del mundo. También participó el director ejecutivo del Congreso Judío, Claudio Epelman.

Rivlin afirmó hoy en su discurso en hebreo que «el antisemitismo llega al corazón del liderazgo europeo» al encabezar una sesión especial de la Bundestag, convocada en memoria de las víctimas del nazismo. «La responsabilidad que tiene Alemania es pesada. Es particularmente pesada porque hoy, Europa, como partes del mundo en general, está cambiando nuevamente, perseguida por los fantasmas del pasado, concepciones de superioridad, pureza nacionalista, xenofobia, antisemitismo feo y flagrante», dijo el presidente ante los legisladores alemanes.
