Hace exactamente 9 días, Abraham Kaul expresó su incorporación a la agrupación SOMOS AMIA en el camino a las elecciones del 5 de abril.
En uno de los párrafos salientes de la carta pública dijo: «Batia Nemirovsky es la primera mujer judía en 125 años que se presenta como candidata a presidenta de la AMIA. Siento que es necesario ser más útil que importante. Es por eso que voy a acompañar y apoyar a Batia aportando, mi experiencia, mis conocimientos y todo lo que pueda dar para el bien de la comunidad”-
A pesar de que la agrupación no hizo oficial su llegada, a Kaul se lo vio en una reunión interna con más de 40 personas de SOMOS AMIA, por lo que todo hacia creer que tras la carta que el expresidente de AMIA le envió a los medios ya era parte de la lista.
De todos modos, tan solo 9 días después, en forma sorpresiva, decidió bajarse de la contienda electoral explicando que se sumó a una agrupación que ya estaba organizada y con un plan definido que él no compartía.
«Necesito mi independencia de pensamiento, de sentir y de actuar», expresó Kaul, quien agregó: “A mi criterio Batia Nemirovsky ya es una ganadora, ya que será para siempre la primera mujer candidata a presidenta en la historia de la AMIA”.
Según pudo averiguar Vis á Vis, Kaul planteó internamente que SOMOS AMIA, con Batia Nemirovsky como candidata, tenía un gran caudal de votos y qué él se ofrecía, a ser el nexo con UNA AMIA para ir en contra del BUR rotando la presidencia entre Batia Nemirovsky y Alejandro Kladniew.
Desde SOMOS AMIA le respondieron que la premisa del diálogo es muy importante, pero que no pensaban hacer acuerdo con UNA AMIA ni con el BUR ya que, desde hace meses, venían trabajando en propuestas que no coinciden con esas listas.
A su vez, según le comentaron a Vis á Vis fuentes cercanas a la cúpula de SOMOS AMIA, “Kaul llegó queriendo una fórmula con Batia que intentó instalar en los medios sin demasiado éxito, luego propuso cosas que no van de la mano con nuestras propuestas y, por último, sugirió ser el nexo con UNA AMIA. Al tener respuestas negativas en sus pedidos decidió irse”.
A 9 días de asegurar “siento que es necesario ser más útil que importante”, Kaúl se fue de SOMOS AMIA. Sorpresivo e inesperado este giro de Kaul. ¿O no?
Kaul es desconcertante. Se tiene que retirar de la política comunitaria de una buena vez. Ya no es serio.
Kaul fue un factor importante en nuestra Comunidad. Recuerdo su activa participación en la DAIA y la AMIA, en la que llegó a ser presidente. Lamentablemente ha adoptado en tiempos recientes posturas que en mi opinión no son constructivas sino que profundizan divisiones en el Ishuv.
