Tal como informó ABC, más de 200 agentes han participado en una redada en 34 inmuebles desde las seis de la mañana entre comisarías de Policía y apartamentos privados en Duisburg, Mülheim, Essen, Moers y Oberhausen.

Los registros forman parte de la investigación sobre un grupo de extrema derecha en el que tomaban parte al menos 29 policías alemanes y que se comunica a través de cinco chats.

La fiscalía les acusa de los delitos de sedición y uso de símbolos de organizaciones inconstitucionales.

El ministro del Interior de Renania Norte-Westfalia, Herbert Reul ha informado sobre «la peor y más repugnante agitación neonazi, racista y anti-refugiados».

«Una vergüenza para la policía de esta región» y una «bofetada en la cara para todos nosotros», agregó.

Por el momento, han sido catalogados un total de 126 archivos de imágenes con indicios de relevancia criminal.

Los funcionarios compartieron imágenes de Hitler, banderas del Reich y esvásticas.

Otras imágenes muestran la representación ficticia de refugiados en una cámara de gas o de un niño de piel oscura al que disparaban.

Todo quedó al descubierto el 3 de septiembre cuando se confiscó el teléfono móvil de un policía de Mülheim.

El oficial estaba siendo investigado por traicionar el secreto de un periodista.

Suspendidos y castigados

Los 29 agentes de policía han sido suspendidos a primera hora de la mañana y han tenido que entregar sus uniformes, tarjetas de identificación y armas.
La jefatura de Policía tomará medidas disciplinarias contra todos ellos.
Se retirará del servicio a 14 funcionarios y se están llevando a cabo investigaciones penales contra otros 11. A
ctualmente se considera que 15 agentes son «destinatarios puros» de los mensajes de chat, es decir, los emitían y recibían de primera mano.

Según Reul, 25 agentes pertenecen a la jefatura de policía de Essen, muchos a la Inspección de Policía 4 de Mülheim.

Uno es un líder de grupo de servicio, otro en la SEK, y otro más en la LKA.

Según el ministro del Interior, Reul, seis de los 29 agentes de policía son mujeres, incluidas personas con antecedentes migratorios.

El primer grupo de chat se fundó en 2012, aunque la mayoría de los archivos provienen de un grupo de chat que se lanzó en 2015.
