Marcelo Cossar, legislador radical, denunció al Gobierno de Córdoba por un supuesto vacunatorio VIP en el que figura, entre otros, el rabino Marcelo Polakoff.
El caso tomó aún más relevancia luego del escándalo ocurrido a nivel nacional que terminó con la renuncia de Ginés González al ministerio de Salud.
Ante la denuncia, el rabino emitió un comunicado en el que explicó la situación:

Nunca me pareció serlo, pero según algunos acabo de estrenar ese título. La verdad es que me da mucha pena tener que explicar lo obvio, pero a veces es necesario para detener un reguero de mentiras que se hacen casi inevitables.
Los hechos: el jueves 18 de febrero por la noche se me salió una muela y el viernes 19 al mediodía acudí a mi dentista, quien además de hacerme el arreglo correspondiente me preguntó si ya estaba vacunado. Contesté que no, y mi odontóloga me comentó que había ido sin turno al centro de vacunación de Feriar (el más grande de Córdoba), sugiriéndome que fuera de inmediato, más que nada porque estoy permanentemente visitando enfermos y gente internada incluso en salas de terapia intensiva. “A lo sumo perdés un par de horas”, me dijo.
Me pareció bien, así que llevé mis patitas hasta allí, hice una hora de cola como cualquier hijo de vecino en la fila designada y habilitada para la gente sin turno previo, y al presentarme en el mostrador sencillamente pregunté si me podía vacunar justamente por la actividad que desarrollo en muchísimos centros de salud. Me contestaron que sí y me vacuné. Volví satisfecho a mi casa sabiendo que podría asistir espiritualmente a más gente con mayor seguridad, con menos miedo de contagiar a quienes ya padecen otras patologías, y al rato nomás estalló el escándalo en Buenos Aires con el “vacunatorio VIP”.
Esas esquirlas llegaron a Córdoba y apareció mi nombre en la lista – teóricamente “muy chequeada” – que presentó el legislador Cossar de los “vacunados VIP”.
Más allá de que figuro como vacunado en el hospital San Roque el 19 de enero (completamente erróneo), quedé “pegado” a una supuesta maniobra de tráfico de influencias o invitaciones especiales a vacunarse, o vaya a saberse qué otra cosa…
Lamentable, una pena. Nada de eso – lo que sin ninguna duda es corrupto y lamentable – hubo aquí. Ni llamados, ni listas, ni convocatorias a ningún vacunatorio oculto, ni contactos, ni nada.
Ahora tengo que dedicar tiempo y esfuerzo a explicar lo que no es. Entiendo que son gajes del oficio.
Mientras tanto, si gracias a lo sucedido con Ginés García y aledaños, todo el sistema se organiza mejor, y se hace aún más transparente, bienvenido sea el escándalo. En ese caso no me habrá molestado tanto, como ahora, haber sido “un efímero VIP”…
