Israel: Lieberman boicoteará la visita de la Ministra de Exteriores sueca

En respuesta a la decisión del Parlamento de la Unión Europea de reconocer al “Estado de Palestina”, el ministro de Exteriores, Avigdor Lieberman, boicoteará a la canciller sueca Margot Wallström, durante su próxima visita a Israel, señala un reporte del Canal 2 de la televisión.

Lieberman se niega a reunirse con Wallström, quien tiene programado visitar el país el mes que viene, en reacción a la decisión de Estocolmo de convertirse en el principal país de la Unión Europea en apoyar la iniciativa unilateral de la Autoridad Palestina hacia su reconocimiento como Estado.

El ministro de Exteriores precisó que Suecia obscureció intencionalmente sus intenciones de reconocer al “Estado Palestino”, y rechazó escuchar los argumentos israelíes en contra de la moción.

Lieberman manifestó que otros parlamentos europeos, que aprobaron mociones similares, consideraron al menos los argumentos israelíes antes de tomar la decisión.

Aún no está claro si la visita será oficialmente boicoteada por el gobierno israelí o si la jefa de la diplomacia sueca será desairada solamente por Lieberman.
