«Su victoria es un gran motivo de orgullo para el Estado de Israel y para la universidad», dijo el profesor Ron Rubin, presidente de la Universidad de Haifa. «La excelencia de la universidad se mide no solo por sus avances y logros científicos, sino también por la calidad de su producción de contenido humano».

Asimismo, la Copa del Mundo permanece abierta a equipos mixtos, lo que brinda la opción de elegir en qué campeonato competir.

En 2019, el equipo de vela de 470 mujeres se clasificó con éxito para los Juegos Olímpicos de Tokio 2020.
