AMIA 27 años: La percusión y el rap se unen en una nueva acción artística para rendir homenaje a las víctimas fatales del atentado

Convocados por AMIA para rendir homenaje a las 85 víctimas fatales del atentado del 18 de julio de 1994, los integrantes del reconocido grupo de percusión “La Bomba de Tiempo” y XXL Irione, uno de los raperos más destacados de la escena local, protagonizaron un video en colaboración, que apunta a llegar con su mensaje a las generaciones que no tienen memoria vivencial del peor ataque terrorista que sufrió nuestro país.

Bajo el nombre “Porque tenemos memoria exigimos justicia”, la creación artística que se presentó a través de las redes sociales de la institución y de los artistas invitados, se basa en ritmos y estilos propios del lenguaje estético urbano vinculado fuertemente con la protesta social. Con un contenido poderoso y contundente, la nueva acción de recordación habla de los que “ya no están”, y de la necesidad de un futuro sin impunidad.

 

“Para el ejercicio de la memoria, creemos que no hay estilo que no se pueda abordar”, señala Elio Kapszuk, director de Arte y Producción de AMIA. “A través de la percusión y del rap, nos interesó poder llegar a nuevos públicos y que las nuevas generaciones conozcan lo que sucedió. Con géneros musicales que hasta ahora no habíamos incluido, hacemos oír la falta de justicia, y traemos al presente los nombres de cada una de las 85 personas que fueron asesinadas”.

“27 años sin nada, ni un poco de justicia / Conviviendo a diario con una forzada ausencia. / Yo no me acostumbro, que eso sea costumbre / Vivir la pesadilla del polvo y de los escombros”. La letra que XXL Irione compuso y rapeó para el video le permitió –según sus palabras– formar parte de manera medular del reclamo contra la impunidad.

“Soy un rapero de hace muchos años, y parte de rapear siempre fue exigir justicia para la sociedad en todo”, asegura el artista. “El rap es pedir también justicia y por eso conecta tan bien con el reclamo de AMIA. Incluir al rap, a un rapero, en un homenaje tan significativo, creo que marca un antes y un después. Eso en lo personal me llena de orgullo”, reconoce.

Por su parte, Alejandro Oliva, uno de los integrantes y director musical de “La Bomba de Tiempo” subraya que es fundamental el derecho de toda la sociedad “a conocer la verdad acerca de este atroz atentado, para que no quede impune y que sus culpables sean condenados. Hay una herida abierta que urge sanar. Memoria, verdad y justicia son tres pilares de una lucha necesaria”.

“La Bomba de Tiempo es un grupo de una tremenda ductilidad así que fue muy fácil encontrar la música que sirviera de sostén y estructura para que luego se uniera Irione con su letra y su flow rapero. Creo que el resultado es fresco y contundente. Espero que este material tenga su impacto y cumpla su cometido: no olvidar aquel fatídico 18 de julio de 1994”, remarca.

“AMIA viene desarrollando desde hace muchos años acciones, performances e instalaciones en la vía pública porque entiende que la relación entre arte y memoria encuentra, en el territorio urbano, no solamente un soporte sino también parte del mensaje. En este caso, con la música, con el rap y con la percusión, volvemos a situar el reclamo y la protesta en el lugar de las calles”, concluye Elio Kapszuk.
