El presidente de la Autoridad Palestina, Mahmud Abbas ha afirmado que se ha comprometido con el Secretario de Estado estadounidense, John Kerry, para que no haya conflictos abiertos con Israel durante todo el año que viene.
Abbas ha dado garantías a Kerry para animar a los diferentes Estados del mundo para donar dinero para implementar la reconstrucción de Gaza. «Kerry me preguntó cuanto tiempo podría durar la calma. Le dije que no soy un adivino, pero que al menos hasta el final del año próximo no habrá conflicto, y estoy trabajando para que la calma dure siempre», señaló el presidente palestino.
