El ministro israelí de Transporte, Israel Katz, advirtió que el dinero que es donado para la re construcción de Gaza será «desperdiciado» sí Hamás no renuncia a su lucha armada.
Las declaraciones las realizó anoche ante 2 mil seguidores del partido del Likud en donde se realizó la tradicional fiesta de Sucot, en el que participaron ministros del gobierno y el presidente del parlamento israelí, y avisó que el gobierno se está preparando para lanzar nuevas ofensivas contra la Franja de Gaza, como la de este verano, sí lo cree conveniente. «Aquellos días en lo que los judíos eran masacrados y no hacían nada se ha terminado. Sí una operación «Margen Protector» no es suficiente habrá dos o tres hasta que el terrorismo de Hamás desaparezca. Prefiero que mil madres palestinas lloren a que lo haga una sola madre judía», sentenció Katz en su discurso.
Continuando con está línea el ministro le recomendó a la comunidad internacional aprender de sus fracasos con Irak y Siria, a los que responsabilizó del auge del movimiento jihadista como es el caso del Estado Islámico, y además aseguró: «La próxima vez que nos ofrezcan un acuerdo en el que debemos retirarnos de un territorio a cambio de promesas u fuerzas internacionales, les enviaremos hacer sus deberes en el Kurdistan».
