Este martes, un hombre armado asesinó a un policía e hirió a otras cuatro personas. Durante el ataque terrorista en el sur de Israel, un voluntario de la MDA que se encontraba en el lugar se percató de lo que estaba sucediendo, salió de su vehículo y disparó inmediatamente al terrorista.
Según informó el hombre, «estaba conduciendo y vi a una persona con un arma parada en la carretera. Al principio pensé que era un policía, pero luego me dispararon».
«Me agaché y luego salté del vehículo, saqué mi arma y le disparé. Siento que cumplí con mi deber cívico«, concluyó.
Respecto a la víctima fatal, los servicios de emergencia indicaron que intentaron reanimar al agente, que sufrió heridas de bala en el pecho, pero murió camino al hospital.
Según los informes, el tirador llegó al lugar a pie y abrió fuego contra los vehículos que pasaban, hasta que un civil le disparó. Se informó que el individuo abatido era un policía.
El director general de la Magen David Adom (MDA), Eli Bin, informó que cinco personas sufrieron heridas de diversa consideración en el ataque terrorista en el sur de Israel: una persona resultó gravemente herida y luego fue declarada muerta; otra sufrió heridas moderadas y otras tres resultaron levemente heridas. La mayoría de las víctimas fueron evacuadas al hospital Assuta en Ashdod.
Los paramédicos voluntarios de United Hatzalah, Doron Sabah, Shmuel Bechor y Alexi Gretznikov, que atendieron a un hombre gravemente herido en el primer lugar de los hechos, informaron: «Brindamos el tratamiento inicial en el lugar de los hechos y realizamos RCP a un hombre de 30 años en estado crítico».
«También nos dijeron que otros socorristas y un equipo de ambulancias de United Hatzalah atendieron en dos lugares adicionales a una persona en estado leve a moderado que fue trasladada al hospital en la ambulancia de United Hatzalah, y a un hombre con heridas leves», agregaron.
