Otros líderes judíos creen que la nueva legislación traería complicaciones en el litigio contra los antisemitas y negadores del Holocausto. Josh Frydenberg, el único legislador judío de la coalición del gobierno, dijo que los cambios propuestos son para proteger la libertad de expresión.
