La familia Bibas emitió una emotiva declaración tras el regreso del secuestrado Yarden Bibas del cautiverio de Hamas sin su esposa Shiri y sus dos hijos Ariel y Kfir.
“Yarden ha vuelto a casa. Una cuarta parte de nuestro corazón ha vuelto a nosotros después de 15 largos meses. No hay palabras para describir el alivio de tener a Yarden en nuestras manos, abrazarlo y escuchar su voz. Yarden ha vuelto a casa, pero el hogar sigue incompleto”, dice el comunicado.
“Yarden es un padre que abandonó su habitación segura para proteger a su familia, sobrevivió valientemente al cautiverio y regresó a una realidad insoportable”, dice.
«En este momento, pedimos: protejan a Yarden, protejan su alma. Por favor, respeten su privacidad y denle el espacio que necesita para que su cuerpo y su alma puedan comenzar a recuperarse”, dice el comunicado.

Hamás ha afirmado que Shiri y los niños fueron asesinados en Gaza, pero Israel no tiene pruebas definitivas y ha exigido información a Hamás a través de mediadores.
Los Bibas también agradecen al pueblo de Israel y a los soldados de las FDI.
“Nos llevará unos días reunirnos con Yarden, pero seguimos con la esperanza y el llamamiento al regreso de Shiri, los niños y todos los secuestrados. Por favor, sigan haciendo oír sus voces y haciendo hincapié en la urgencia de su regreso”.
