A través de el decreto Nº 108/2016 publicado ayer en el Boletín Oficial formalizaron la designación de Mario Cimadevilla a cargo de la Unidad de Investigación del Atentado a la AMIA y de la muerte del ex fiscal de UFI-AMIA, Alberto Nisman. Esta unidad estará coordinada junto a la Oficina Anticorrupción bajo la órbita del Ministerio de Justicia y Derechos Humanos dirigido por Germán Garavano.
Esta unidad está facultada para recibir denuncias, informes, pruebas y promover las reformas legislativas necesarias para establecer contactos con organismos nacionales e internacionales que puedan aportar en las causas vinculadas. Además está unidad que fue creada en el año 2000 cuenta con las facultades para intervenir como querellante en las causas judiciales vinculadas con este atentado.
Cabe resaltar que a fines de diciembre del año pasado, Mario Cimadevilla dialogó en exclusiva con la CADENA JUDÍA DE INFORMACIÓN VIS A VIS y remarcó que esta unidad «no está para encubrir a nadie», y además agregó que la muerte del fiscal Alberto Nisman está relacionada con la causa por el atentado a la AMIA (https://visavis.com.ar/?p=51614).
