Actriz colombiana tuvo expresiones antisemitas por no ganar el Oscar

Fuerte repudio de diversos sectores generaron las expresiones antisemitas de Paola Turbay,  actriz colombiana ,luego que «El hijo de Saul» derrotara a el «El abrazo de la serpiente» la otra película ternada. 

En la red social twitter, Turbay puso al finalizar la entrega » Estuvo jodido…Perdón. Judío»

Ante las manifestaciones generalizadas de repudio, la actriz escribió un comunicado en su blog en el que se disculpa, aunque tampoco conformó por el tenor de la misma

El comunicado

Lamento el mal entendido con mi trino. A la comunidad Judia mi explicación:

«Como saben, gran parte de la industria y por lo tanto quienes votan para los premios Óscar, es judía. Es por eso que supondría que los afecta más un tema como Son Of Saul que el Abrazo de la Serpiente. Las dos películas son brillantes y merecedoras del premio, pero hay algo más cercano para ellos en #SonOfSaul. Ojo: NO son judíos colombianos en donde la situación sería distinta. Conexión con el Amazonas y con el Holocausto.
A la hora de votar la emoción pesa muchísimo. De no ser así, elegiríamos a los mejores gobernantes. El voto es más emocional que racional. Es un tema de conexión; sobretodo en algo que genera tanta sensibilidad como el cine.
Cuando hablo de ‘jodido’ me refiero a la situación y no a una colonia a la cual respeto y admiro profundamente.
Después de hablar con algunos amigos de la comunidad, entiendo su sensibilidad y por eso me siento en la obligación de darles esta explicación y reiterarles que mi trino es un juego de palabras, más no un juego ofensivo.
Espero que esto aclare todo.

  3. A ver pueblo ignorante y chovinista. Nadie, nadie fuera de Colombia apostaba por Colombia en los Oscar. La comentada ere Mustang y por allá de repente Theeb. Lean pa que dejen de decir pendejadas. Dejen de soñar. Esto es subjetivo de todas maneras, bien lo dijo el chivo Lubezky en su discurso cuando recibió su TERCER Oscar. Pero por si las moscas. Una cosa es hacer una buena película y otra que el tema de su película se políticamente correcto y «bueno».
