Declararon referentes de Memoria Activa y criticaron duramente el rol de la dirigencia comunitaria

El jueves 17 de marzo, en el 24 aniversario del atentado a la embajada de Israel, Adriana Reisfeld y Diana Malamud declararon como testigos en el juicio por encubrimiento del atentado a la AMIA. Ese fue, según expresaron, su homenaje a todas las víctimas.

“A partir del 18 de julio de 1994 nuestra vida cambió. Todo es un antes y un después”. Así comenzó su testimonio Diana Wassner de Malamud, quien perdió a su marido Andrés en el atentado. “Vivimos la imposibilidad de elaborar un duelo por la falta de justicia” expresó y recordó el nacimiento de Memoria Activa por la necesidad de hacer públicos sus reclamos, a diferencia de lo que se solía hacer dentro de la comunidad. “Eso fomentaba el tratamiento del atentado a la AMIA como algo judío, lo que se veía en los medios de comunicación e incluso en el discurso del presidente Menem, quien tras el atentado, envió sus condolencias a Israel” recordó.

Entre los perjuicios que le ocasionó la lucha por justicia, mencionó por ejemplo que tras su discurso en el acto aniversario de 1996, quisieron despedirla de su trabajo por orden expresa de Menem. Y que sufrió una persecución por un auto con dos personas que, luego de hacer la denuncia, se enteraron pertenecían a la Policía Federal y habían sido enviadas «como protección». “Aparentemente la Policía Bonaerense quería matarme” dijo. En este extraño episodio, según contó, Diana pudo ir comprendiendo los vínculos que tenían los dirigentes comunitarios con el jefe de la Federal, quien se disculpó por lo ocurrido en una reunión posterior organizada por el ex presidente de la DAIA, Rubén Beraja y su asesor Jorge Bronstein, a quien no por nada apodaban “el comisario”.
El comienzo de las irregularidades
Las primeras dudas respecto a las irregularidades en la causa llegaron cuando el entonces juez Juan José Galeano fue desde el aeropuerto directamente a la quinta de Olivos tras su reunión en Venezuela con un testigo. “Le pregunté por qué y me contestó que era una ‘causa de Estado’. Eso ya me generó dudas” recordó. Fue así como Diana decidió empezar a leer la causa, en cuyos expedientes encontró, sin ser abogada, numerosas incoherencias.
Es el caso de la foja 114, correspondiente a una solicitud de escuchas telefónicas al imputado Carlos Telleldín, su entorno y a miembros de la embajada iraní en Buenos Aires, entre otros. Esa foja aparecía ubicada antes de que se encontrara el motor de la Trafic que vinculaba a Telleldín con el atentado. “¿Cómo se explicaba que eso estuviera en la foja 114 si no había aparecido el motor?” cuestionó Diana y agregó “cuando le preguntamos a Galeano, a Beraja y a los fiscales sobre ello, nos contestaron sorprendentemente lo mismo: que era una foja traspapelada”.

En otras ocasiones detectaron incongruencias tanto en los datos de las autopsias de los fallecidos como en los peritajes realizados de la explosión. “Lo de las autopsias lo hablé con Beraja, y me pidió que no se hiciera público o exhumarían todos los cuerpos. Sobre las incoherencias en el peritaje, recibimos retos por parte de Bronstein y Cichowolski (abogado de la querella AMIA/DAIA)” expresó.

También denunció que el juez Galeano tenía «legajos secretos» que los familiares desconocían pero de los que sí tenía conocimiento la dirigencia comunitaria. Esto sumado a la enorme cantidad de veces que desde Memoria Activa se solicitaban medidas de prueba y no se cumplían. «Vivíamos apelando a la Cámara porque no hacían nada de lo que pedíamos» explicó.

Diferencias con la dirigencia comunitaria
Desde un principio se veía la estrecha relación que los dirigentes comunitarios tenían con el gobierno. Tal es así que, en el aniversario del atentado en 1995, Diana fue invitada al programa de Bernardo Neustadt junto al ex presidente Carlos Menem y Rubén Beraja, ambos imputados en este juicio. “¿Cómo estás Rubén? ¿Qué hacés Carlitos?” se saludaron, según recordó la testigo.

A su vez, Diana describió los tratos amistosos que recibían los abogados y dirigentes de AMIA y DAIA por parte del personal del juzgado, además de informarlos sobre todo lo que ocurría y de lo que Memoria Activa presentaba. “Cuando íbamos al juzgado, había que pedir entrevista. Nos hacían esperar mucho y mientras, entraban los de la DAIA adelante de nuestras narices. Tenían un trato tan cordial que sorprendía. Todos hablaban de ‘Juancito’ para referirse a Galeano” dijo.
El tesimonio de Adriana Reisfeld
En línea con lo que declaró su antecesora y compañera de Memoria Activa, Adriana, quien perdió a su hermana Noemí en el atentado, continuó ejemplificando la estrecha relación entre lo dirigentes y el juzgado de Galeano. Recordó que en determinado momento Luis Dobniewski, abogado de AMIA, les ofreció, según dijo “sacar a dar una vuelta a Telleldín”, quien ya estaba preso por el ser el último poseedor conocido del motor de la Trafic que habría explotado en la AMIA. “Galeno también nos ofreció visitar a Telleldín para convencerlo de que hablara. Era algo ilegal y nos negamos” recordó.

También hizo referencia a un evento de recaudación de fondos para pagarle a Marta Nercellas, abogada de la DAIA, al que fue invitada junto a su marido. “Me encontré con los ex fiscales de la causa Eamon Mullen, José Barbaccia y Alberto Nisman. Ellos eran los oradores” dijo con ironía.
Presiones desde el gobierno
Las presiones se las hacían llegar a los integrantes a través de los dirigentes de AMIA y DAIA. «Nos decían que Menem estaba enojado y que Corach quería que nos fuéramos de la plaza» expresó y recordó un llamado telefónico a su casa en el cual, sobre un fondo de música judía, le pedían que se fuera a reclamar a su país.
Pedidos y próxima audiencia
Tras los datos aportados por Diana y Adriana, las querellas pidieron al Tribunal que citen a declarar como testigos a Laura Ginsberg y al ex abogado de Memoria Activa, Alberto Zuppi. Las defensas de los acusados se negaron y los jueces deberán resolverlo en las próximas audiencias.
El 31 de marzo están citados a declarar los ex policías Eduardo Toledo y Marcelo Casas.
