A principios de este año la Fundación Ana Frank criticó un juego similar al «escape room» en una ciudad holandesa que se parecía al pequeño apartamento de Amsterdam donde la joven judía se escondía con su familia de los ocupantes nazis holandeses durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial hasta su captura y asesinato posterior.
