Varieté de un observador agudo
Ignacio Mazzocco estudió el Talmud, cuidó voluntariamente a una sobreviviente del Holocausto, emprendió un viaje de investigación a los campos de exterminio Nazi y realizó meditaciones dentro de las cámaras de gas y fosas comunes. Pasó años elaborando estas vivencias y en abril las comparte en un acontecimiento artístico integral y único: presenta El Observador, una obra compuesta por una muestra gráfica, una pieza teatral y un concierto.
Mazzocco no es judío, pero a los 12 años se acercó solo a una sinagoga y se sintió involucrado. “El Holocausto me hiere”, dice este abogado, que trabajó en estudios jurídicos de renombre y es escritor por vocación. “Mi propia historia está plagada de búsqueda interior y superación constante. Creo que el rol del Observador es clave para generar acciones”, sostiene. Graduado en la Universidad Di Tella, hizo una maestría en leyes en Estados Unidos. En 2014 publicó La Noble Igualdad (Sudamericana), que traduce el sistema legal argentino a un lenguaje masivo. A los 20 años ya era profesor. Actualmente enseña Libertad de expresión en la Universidad de San Andrés. Tiene tres hijos, con los que medita todas las noches en un templo de chapa que diseñó él mismo en su casa, en Tigre.
Mazzocco anhela que El Observador -que se ofrece en un espacio íntimo, impactante y original- sea la plataforma de un Laboratorio de Innovación Social. Y una bisagra en su vida.
El Observador se verá desde el sábado 8 de abril, durante dos meses a las 19 horas en el teatro IMPA La Fábrica, Querandíes 4290, esquina Pringles.
