Una pareja de jóvenes israelíes se casó en secreto hoy en el Monte del Templo como un acto de protesta en contra de la prohibición del gobierno para llevar a cabo rituales religiosos judíos en el sitio sagrado.
Los recién casados Tom Nisani y Sarah Lurcat, forman parte de un grupo de activistas denominado “Estudiantes por el Monte del Templo”, que busca una mayor apertura para que los judíos puedan acceder y realizar rituales o actividades en el sitio sagrado.
Ante la cámara y con ropa casual para no aparentar nada, Nisani habló de la importancia del sitio para el judaísmo antes de correr rápidamente hacia Sarah, colocarle un anillo de bodas en el dedo en presencia de testigos por parte del grupo que lo acompañaba en su recorrido y recitar una bendición, consumando así su unión nupcial. “Estamos ya casados en el sitio más sagrado del pueblo judío” dijo ante la cámara.
“¡Felicidades, Tom y Sarah! Ojalá que logren construir con amor su hogar familiar y al Hogar Nacionalal mismo tiempo” se leía en la página oficial del grupo activista al que pertenecen y donde se publicó el video.
La policía anunció que Nisani, quien también es director de actividades de la ONG israelí Im Tirtzuserá investigado por violar las regulaciones el sitio y que será puesto en la lista de los individuos que tienen prohibido visitar el lugar. Las regulaciones se implementaron para que el ingreso de judíos al sitio no pueda llegar a provocar un enojo en los palestinos que lo visitan a diario. La Mezquita de al-Aqsa y el Domo de la Roca se encuentran dentro del Monte del Templo, y son sitios sagrados para el islam.
A pesar de esta boda exprés de protesta, han comentado que dentro de tres meses realizarán una ceremonia tradicional judía para su unión.
