Israel anunció que sus aeronaves efectuaron disparos contra tres células palestinas que estaban lanzando globos y cometas hacia el territorio israelí. En al menos tres casos se reportaron heridos entre los agresores palestinos, que según los informes eran integrantes de Hamás.
De cualquier manera, se registraron múltiples incendios en el sur israelí provocados por los artefactos incendiarios lanzados desde el lado palestino de la frontera. Varias dotaciones de bomberos y oficiales de seguridad trabajan para contenerlos.
