El grupo yihadista Estado Islámico (ISIS) crucificó el lunes a dos menores de edad en el noreste de Siria a los que acusó de no ayunar en Ramadán, según el Observatorio Sirio de Derechos Humanos. Las víctimas fueron colgadas de una valla en un cuartel de la hisba, cuerpo parapolicial del grupo terrorista, en la ciudad de Al Mayadín, uno de los bastiones de los yihadistas en la provincia nororiental siria de Deir al Zur.
«Los chicos fueron colgados con cuerdas en un poste y seguían allí al final de la tarde», indicó la ONG de derechos humanos. «Aparentemente, fueron sorprendidos mientras comían», agregó en un comunicado.
Los extremistas colgaron del cuello de los menores carteles que tenían escrito el mensaje: «Ruptura del ayuno sin justificación religiosa»
Las crucifixiones y los asesinatos como las decapitaciones y lapidaciones, suelen ser empleados por el Estado Islámico como medio propagandístico y para aterrorizar a la población.
El jueves pasado, comenzó en Siria, al igual que en otros países de la región, el mes sagrado musulmán del Ramadán.
Durante este período, los fieles dejan de comer y beber entre el alba y el ocaso, cambian sus comportamientos sociales y prodigan sus muestras de piedad para sentirse más cerca de Alá.
El ISIS, que proclamó un califato en el territorio sirio y el iraquí hace casi un año, aplica una versión estricta de la sharia o ley islámica en las zonas que domina. La policía religiosa es la encargada de aplicar la estricta versión de la ley y cada delito tiene establecida su correspondiente pena en una lista:
Blasfemia contra Dios, su mensajero o contra el islam: muerte
Adulterio: si la pareja que comete adulterio tiene relaciones sexuales, ambos serán lapidados hasta la muerte. Si, en cambio, no tienen contacto sexual, recibirán 100 azotes y el «destierro» de la comunidad.
Homosexualidad: «muerte para el penetrador y el receptor».
Robo: amputación de las manos.
Beber alcohol: 80 azotes.
Calumnias: 80 azotes.
Espionaje para «los infieles»: muerte sumaria.
Abandono del islam: muerte.
Estafa: a los que matan y roban el dinero de esa persona, muerte y crucifixión; si matan, serán castigados con la muerte; si le sacan el dinero, le cortarán la mano derecha y el pie izquierdo; por atemorizar a la gente, «destierro».
