En octubre pasado, Dayan le dijo al periódico que ella y otros cuatro miembros de Estudiantes Apoyando a Israel tenían miedo a la violencia física cuando salían de un evento.
“En el momento en que [los miembros de EJP] nos vieron, comenzaron a gritar sus lemas con un micrófono para intimidarnos. Había al menos 50 miembros del EJP bloqueando la pasarela”, dijo al Post. “Estaban realmente enojados y daba miedo. Creí que escalaría a violencia física“.

En marzo, dijo que los miembros del EJP la llamaron “terrorista” cuando repartió panfletos pro-Israel en el campus.
Ella le dijo al periódico que había presentado una queja ante la Junta de Gobierno Estudiantil por el incidente en enero. Pero la junta le dijo que el problema debería remitirse a la junta de adjudicación de la escuela, que actúa como árbitro sobre los asuntos entre los estudiantes.
“Pensé que la universidad me protegería, pero no hicieron nada cuando [los manifestantes] me llamaron terrorista“, dijo Dayan al Post. “La escuela espera mientras soy acosada”.
