El modesto Hapoel Beer Sheva se hizo por segunda vez consecutiva con la liga de fútbol de Israel tras vencer a su directo rival, Macabi Tel Aviv de Jordi Cruyff, en un disputado partido.

Hapoel, propiedad de la conocida empresaria, Alona Barkat, que ha convertido el club en uno de sus motivos de vida, venció por 1-2 en el último minuto del partido, haciendo insalvable la diferencia entre ambos en la tabla de la primera división, a tres jornadas del final.

Equipo representativo de la capital del desierto del Negev, Hapoel afianza con este campeonato su predominio en el fútbol nacional después de tres años en los que las principales competiciones nacionales fueron propiedad de Macabi Tel Aviv. EFE
