En Los Ángeles, la oficina del fiscal de la ciudad presentó varios cargos de crímenes de odio contra Amos Hason, hombre de 49 años acusado de realizar graffitis antisemitas, reiteradas veces, en un negocio de propiedad judía.
En dos incidentes separados el mes pasado, los fiscales alegan que Hason hizo pintadas antisemitas que incluían esvásticas en la cerca trasera del negocio y en el contenedor de basura, incluyendo elogios a Adolf Hitler: «Adolf estaba en lo correcto. Hay que matar a los judíos», fue uno de los graffitis que realizó.
Los incidentes fueron capturados en video vigilancia. Fue arrestado el fin de semana por los cargos de crímenes de odio y otras violaciónes de armas.
Hason debe pagar U$S 68.000 de fianza. De ser hallado culpable, enfrenta hasta tres años de cárcel y 15.000 dólares en multas.
