A tan solo dos semanas del inicio del juicio por irregularidades en la investigación del atentado contra la mutual judía de la AMIA, el juez Miguel Pons presentó su renuncia a su cargo en el Tribunal Oral Federal Nro. 3.
Cabe destacar que Pons, junto a los jueces Gerardo Larrambebere y Miguel Gordo, denunciaron al ex juez Juan José Galeano, acusándolo de ser parte de un complot para encubrir la investigación.
Galeano, como el ex presidente Carlos Menem, comenzarán a ser enjuiciados a partir del próximo 6 de agosto.
El tribunal que deja Pons, con otra integración, tiene pendiente un juicio que tiene como único imputado a Carlos Telleldín, acusado por ser el último poseedor de la Traffic que se habría utilizado como coche bomba en el brutal ataque perpetrado el 18 de julio de 1994, provocando 85 muertos.
¿Quiénes serán juzgados?
– Carlos Saúl Menem: Quien fuera presidente al momento de la voladura de la mutual judía está acusado de delitos de encubrimiento, falsedad ideológica, violación de medios de prueba y abuso de autoridad. Se le imputa haber ordenado en un primer tramo de la investigación el desvío de un allanamiento que estaba por hacerse en la casa de Kanoore Edul, originario del pueblo de Siria de donde provenía la familia Menem.
– Juan José Galeano: Instruyó la causa por el ataque a la AMIA desde que fue cometido, el 18 de julio de 1994, hasta que nueve años después fue separado del expediente por posible fabricación de pruebas. En 2005 fue removido de su cargo. Está procesado por peculado, coacción a dos testigos, falsedad ideológica de documento público, privación abusiva de la libertad, encubrimiento, prevaricato, violación de medios de prueba.
– Hugo Alfredo Anzorreguy: El jefe de la SIDE durante el menemismo reconoció que el organismo utilizó en 1996 la suma de 400 mil pesos, asignados como fondos reservados, para gratificar a Telleldín. Está procesado por peculado, encubrimiento, abuso de autoridad y falsedad ideológica de documento público.
– Rubén Ezra Beraja: El ex presidente de la AMIA está procesado como partícipe del delito de peculado.
– José Alberto «Fino» Palacios: Fue designado al frente de la Unidad Antiterrorista en 1997 y luego jefe de la Policía Metropolitana, procesado más tarde por el escándalo de las «escuchas». El 1 de agosto de 1994, menos de dos semanas después del atentado, estaba al frente del fallido allanamiento que debía hacerse en el domicilio de Kanoore Edul. Lo acusan de encubrimiento, abuso de autoridad y violación de medios de prueba.
– Eamon Mullen y José Barbaccia: Junto a Nisman, fueron los fiscales del caso AMIA durante la etapa instructora que encabezó Galeano y en el juicio oral. Están procesados como partícipes necesarios del delito de peculado, coacción y privación abusiva de la libertad agravada.
– Patricio Miguel Pfinnen: Fue jefe de Contrainteligencia de la SIDE. Está procesado por peculado.
– Juan Carlos Anchezar: El ex subsecretario de Inteligencia está acusado de encubrimiento, abuso de autoridad y falsedad ideológica.
– Carlos Alberto Telleldín: Era doblador de autos y en 1994 fue detenido por delitos comunes, en el marco de la causa por el atentado. Luego fue imputado y cumplió 10 años de prisión preventiva durante los cuales se graduó como abogado, pero en 2004 fue absuelto. En el medio, admitió ser beneficiario de los 400 mil dólares que pagó la SIDE. Está procesado por fraguar evidencias para inculpar a policías. Y también espera un nuevo juicio oral por su vinculación en el atentado de la AMIA por las pruebas encontradas entre el momento de la voladura y la concreción del pago.
– Ana Boragni: La ex pareja de Telleldín y responsable del cobro, en 1996, de los 400 mil dólares, en dos pagos de 200 mil cada uno, está procesada como partícipe necesaria de las maniobras.
– Víctor Stinfale: El abogado de Telleldín está acusado de peculado.
– Carlos Antonio Castañeda: Fue jefe del disuelto Departamento de Protección al Orden Constitucional de la Federal. Ya enfrentó un juicio oral por la «pérdida» de 768 intervenciones telefónicas hechas a la casa de Telleldín. Está acusado de encubrimiento, abuso de autoridad, violación de medios de prueba y falsedad ideológica.
