“Quiero decir, realmente no se puede imaginar el horror. Es una locura imaginarlo”, dice entre lágrimas en un trailer del episodio obtenido por la revista People.
El abuelo de Johansson dejó Polonia por los Estados Unidos, donde trabajó como tendero en Nueva York.
El programa PBS utilizó documentación de Yad Vashem para determinar que el hermano del abuelo de Scarlett y su familia murieron en el gueto.
“Wow, eso es triste”, dijo Johansson, visiblemente abrumada por la emoción. “Y me prometí no llorar. Pero es difícil no hacerlo».

“Me hace sentir más profundamente conectado a ese lado de mí misma, ese lado de mi familia. No esperaba eso”, expresó.
