Al concluir la exitosa etapa de la Orquesta Griega Nea Gueniá, algunos de sus integrantes, Nikos Kostakópoulos (Voz y percusión), Jorge Triantafilu (bajo), Gonzalo Gómez (guitarras, bouzouki y baglamás) y Ramón Giménez (violín y guitarra), deciden cerrar ese maravilloso ciclo y continuar con un nuevo nombre, integrando al conjunto al eximio acordeonista griego Kostas Zigkeridis y a la cantante Mercedes Giancarellis, ligada a la música griega desde hace más de quince años.

Esta nueva propuesta musical, está enfocada a brindarle al público, una gran variedad de estilos dentro de la música griega, con canciones de todos los tiempos, haciendo hincapié en la poesía y la historia, generando un mayor interés sobre la cultura griega.
