Detuvieron en Irak al asesino de la adolescente judía alemana

El ministro alemán del Interior, Horst Seehofer, anunció la detención en el norte de Irak de un refugiado iraquí, que huyó del país tras ser identificado como el presunto autor de la violación y muerte de una joven judía de 14 años.

“Las fuerzas de seguridad kurdas nos han comunicado la detención del sospechoso Ali Bashar”, indicó el ministro.

El cuerpo de la adolescente fue hallado el pasado miércoles en una zona de difícil acceso, con signos de haber sido violada y luego asesinada por asfixia, después de varios de días de intensa búsqueda por la región de Wiesbaden (oeste), donde se denunció su desaparición.

La joven, Susanna Maria Feldman, de la ciudad de Maguncia, fue vista por última vez con vida el 22 de mayo, cuando salió con unos amigos a una fiesta, pero no regresó a su casa.

El pasado jueves se procedió a la detención de un sospechoso, un refugiado turco de 35 años, que posteriormente fue puesto en libertad sin cargos.

Poco después se informó de que el presunto autor de la violación y muerte de la joven había huido del país junto con toda su familia una semana antes, en dirección a su país de origen.

El caso desató un gran revuelo en el país y fuertes críticas sobre las autoridades alemanas, que aparentemente no detectaron al sospechoso y sus familiares al salir de Alemania por el aeropuerto de Düsseldorf.

El ahora detenido, Alí Bashar, llegó a Alemania con su familia en 2015 y había llamado la atención por su comportamiento agresivo. Estuvo implicado en sucesivas peleas.

Seehofer, de la Unión Socialcristiana de Baviera (CSU) y representante del ala más derechista del bloque conservador de la canciller Angela Merkel, agradeció a las fuerzas de seguridad kurdas la detención.

Al mismo tiempo, se comprometió junto con sus colegas de los “Länder” a trabajar por agilizar los procesos de expulsión de refugiados rechazados o peligrosos, lo que a menudo topa con la “resistencia” de los países de origen.
