Rosh Hashaná estará abriendo sus puertas para dar comienzo a la gran cita anual con nuestra conciencia y la perspectiva de cambio que debería conllevar. El Juicio, con mayúsculas, está a punto de comenzar y deberíamos estar preparados. Un punto de encuentro con nosotros mismos en donde estamos solos ante el espejo de la vida, que el Cielo nos ha regalado. Una imagen que proyectamos desde que nacemos y que debería ir aclarándose progresivamente hasta alcanzar la luz necesaria, para ser reflejo del Eterno.
El conocimiento que tenemos de nosotros mismos está empañado, a modo de espejo defectuoso, haciéndonos creer que somos mejores que el resto de los mortales. Una existencia carente de valores, principios y sanas motivaciones hace que nuestro estado de ánimo y actos sean irrelevantes e intranscendentes. El mayor enemigo que tenemos somos nosotros mismos y no los demás como la mayoría solemos pensar.
Las acciones, por muy humanitarias que puedan ser o parecer, precisan de una sólida base de fe, en la cual sostenerse. Una roca sólida y estable que no cambia con los tiempos y que está ajena a las perturbaciones de las modas y las tendencias. La evaluación que precisamos en este tiempo, antes de que nos enfrentemos al Juicio Anual que representa Rosh Hashaná, requiere el valor de reconocer lo que somos y lo que no somos.
El estilo kosher, con el que algunos productos van etiquetados, no debe confundirse con el etiquetado que especifica que un determinado producto es Kosher. La expresión al “estilo Kosher” no significa que el producto sea Kosher, correcto y apropiado para su consumo, bajo los preceptos o normas del kashrut. Las apariencias, siempre se ha dicho, engañan e incluso a nuestro propio etiquetado con el cual nos definimos.
En el moderno estado de las cosas materiales las falsificaciones conviven con los artículos originales tal cual conviven el trigo y la cizaña. La dificultad de diferenciar el trigo y la cizaña hace que los labradores prefieran dejarlas crecer juntas hasta la siega cuando son separados. La vida nos permite desarrollarnos juntos los unos con los otros independientemente de la etiqueta que nos identifique o que nosotros mismo nos hayamos puesto. La realidad nos dice que somos lo que somos parezcamos lo que parezcamos.
La tendencia mayoritaria es reflejar una imagen, valga la redundancia, que muchas veces no se corresponde con las realidades emocionales y espirituales que decimos representar. La parte positiva es que estamos en un buen tiempo o ciclo anual, para hacer los cambios necesarios. Las motivaciones positivas son las carentes de prejuicios contra los demás. El tiempo de reflexión personal no se acaba en la estación previa al comienzo del nuevo año. Una reflexión que debería llevarnos a una más amplia y continua evaluación en todas las épocas, estaciones y ciclos de nuestra vida.
La idea en este maravilloso periodo es llegar habiendo hecho los cambios necesarios para empezar bien el Juicio y esperar una sentencia favorable. Lo que hagamos o no hagamos ahora afectará al resto del año que vamos a empezar. Un cambio de dirección es ahora definitivo si esperamos que las cosas cambien en nosotros y a nuestro alrededor. El etiquetado con que solemos auto definirnos debería dar paso al sencillo y efectivo etiquetado kosher ¿Queremos un año dulce? Recemos para que el Cielo cambie nuestro etiquetado y nos considere actos, para buenos actos, que sirvan para cambiar el mundo empezando por nosotros mismos ¡Qué el Cielo nos otorgue un año definitivamente dulce!
